Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is in big trouble.
Her escape plan has not
worked well and so, the government initiated their own counter-offensive and
only hours before Arroyo’s flight for Singapore, a case of electoral sabotage
was filed against her at the Pasay Regional Trial Court.
And only hours after that, a
warrant of arrest was also issued.
Now, Arroyo is back at St.
Luke’s Hospital and is under hospital arrest, as granted by the court. But last Saturday, police
authorities, made the procedure of booking GMA...getting her finger prints and
of course, her priceless mug shots.
Police authorities did not
release the mug shot photos saying that they will have to ask the court first
if giving it publicly will be permitted.
Arroyo’s lawyers on the other
said that they will not “bother to file a motion regarding that issue.” And that means, mug shot
pictures of Gloria Arroyo may soon be made public if the court will give its go
signal.
Hmmm….I am already excited to
see how will GMA will look like in a mug shot photo…a booking and photo for a
criminal…a criminal like her…mug shot pictures that should have been done on her
long ago….but as they say, ‘better late than never.’

What I cannot understand though is that why is it that if ordinary criminals are booked, mug shots are made available faster than the speed light, but why is that GMA's mug shot photos still need the approval of the court before its release to the public? Something fishy.

Philippine Azkals vs LA Galaxy Tickets:I am pretty sure that football fans are
already excited with this upcoming friendly match between our very own
Philippine Azkals and the LA Galaxy.
This exhibition game will happen on December 3, 2011, at the
Rizal Memorial Stadium.
David Beckham himself, expressed his excitement of coming to
the country and play against our Azkals.Together with him, is that we expect Landon Donovan Robbie Keanne to be
also playing.
Will our hometown boys stand tall against the superstar line
up of LA Galaxy?Well, that we will see.
The game will be aired live on Studio 23, but fans can also
watch the game live on the venue.
Tickets for this game are quite pricey, but football fans,
price does not matter, especially if you will see Beckham unleash those strikes
in the field.

Just like in the previous games of the Azkals ar Rizal
Memorial, tickets may be bought at the site.Most probably TicketNet or Ticketworld would be also selling.
I must say that I am not quite comfortable with the
price…that is like one 13th month-pay already of some Pinoy worker, eheheh!....maybe I will just settle with watching the game on TV, hahaha!

Philippine Azkals vs LA Galaxy: Football is really getting the momentum it
needs as the sport is becoming popular, though still very far behind the likes
of basketball and boxing.
On December 3, our very own National Football Team or now
more popularly known as the Philippine Azkals will face the Los Angeles Galaxy
in a friendly match. The game will
happen at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
The LA Galaxy is no push over of course, as it is one of the
most popular football teams in the United States. The reason of course is having the English
football superstar David Beckham on its line up.
Aside of course from Beckham who said that he is very
excited to be in the country and play against our boys, are two superstars who
are also playing – Landon Donovan and Robbie Keane. The presence of this two players come the
December 3 match against the Azkals was personally assured by Galaxy president
Tom Payne.
For the Philippines, expected to play are the Younghusbands,
the striker Chieffy Caligdong, Simon Greathwich, Ray Jonsson, Rob Gier, though the final
line-up will be released by Coach Michael Weiss soon; maybe after he gets back
from the 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia.

The tickets for this match are a bit pricey (ticket infos here), so for all those who cannot watch this game live at the Rizal Memorial
Stadium, we could content ourselves with watching the game live on Studio 23.

Philippine Azkals vs LA Galaxy Game: Though the game for the Philippine Azkals are
all done for this year, this new match is an exciting development for
Philippine football.
The Los Angeles Galaxy will be coming over the Philippines
to play against our hometown boys, the Philippine Azkals in an exhibition
match.
David Beckham is coming to town.
The Azkals vs Galaxy game will happen on December 3, 2011,
at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.
We expect the usual line up for the Azkals to play in the
field while Filipino football fans are excited to see football superstars David
Beckham and Landon Donovan playing live.
The game is part of Galaxy’s thrust of bringing football to
different nations and promoting their team.
This game will be aired live on Studio 23, though live streaming may also available. But for
die hard fans, you can watch this game live at Rizal Memorial if you can afford
to spend at least P10,000. (Ticket infos here)

I am personally excited to watch this game. And I hope after Galaxy, I can watch the

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Replay Video:
Who is your bet, the Mexican or the reigning pound-for-pound king?
This Saturday, November 12, 2011 (US Time), Manny Pacquiao
will face Juan Manuel Marquez in what is dubbed as Pacquiao vs Marquez III.
The fight will happen at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada
for the WBO Welterweight Championship.
Pacquiao who took a leave from his legislative
responsibilities trained hard for this fight which started in Baguio and
continued to the Wild Card Gym of Coach Freddie Roach in Los Angeles. During the training, the 8-weight division
champ prepared so hard in order to disprove all accusations of is Mexican rival
that he lost the two fights they had before.
Pacquiao is favored to win convincingly on November 12.
In 2004, Pacquiao, a budding boxing champ faced Juan Manuel
Marquez. The fight ended in 12 bloody
rounds and the judges had it with a “draw.”
In 2008, the once again fought each other inside the
ring. Pacquiao dropped Marquez in the fight,
but the tenacity of the Mexican forced the fight to last to 12 rounds. Judges had a very close scoring in the fight,
with the final results ending in a “split decision” in favor of Manny Pacquiao.
From then on, Marquez tried to chase a third match against
Pacquiao, but the latter went on the higher weight division conquering
successfully on the turf of bigger fighters.
Marquez said that he is very happy that Pacman gave him
another fight, and said that he will prove to the world that he is the better
fighter. He also predicted that he will
knock out pound-for-pound king.
Pacquiao on the other hand expects an action-packed fight
but promised his fans that he will do his best to win convincingly and cast
away all doubts.

UPDATE: Pacquiao wins over Marquez in a very close and once again controversial fight. After 12 rounds of boxing, the judges had it a majority decision in favor of Pacquiao. The judges scored the fight at 115-113, 116-112 and 114-114 in favor of the pound-for-pound king.

Now, its 2011, and Pacquiao wants to prove to the world that
he is the best fighter and that Marquez’s claim of being robbed of two wins
during their two encounters is simply ridiculous.
In most recent interviews with Marquez, he was seen to be
sporting a bigger body; a product of his three months of hard training. Photos of his bigger body built made sports
analysts wondering if Marquez will withstand Pacquiao’s combination of blinding
speed and power as he had surely bargained his speed with weight gain.
Manny Pacquiao on the other hand is very comfortable with the
catch weight as he is a natural welterweight, with his last weight recorded on
his arrival in Las Vegas exactly at 144 lbs.
I think, this fight will end in a very convincing fashion;
and of course in favor of Manny Pacquiao.
His speed and power will simply be too much to the Mexican
who is already 38 years old. He may have
succeeded his goal of expanding his body size in order to fit in the
welterweight division, but that has to take the price for it. Marquez is of course a great counter-puncher,
but I think that his counter-punching skills may slow down and may not cope
with the speed of Pacquiao throwing punches in all directions.
Juan Manuel Marquez will try to end the fight early on, but if he will
not succeed in doing it, he would rather want it to go the distance just like
the two previous fights.
For Pacquiao, he will be very aggressive early on, but also
careful. He will not hesitate to unleash
his bombs and unlike his last fights, will not be too much of a gentleman
inside the ring against someone who insulted him.
Marquez will go down and he will suffer the just the same
fate as that of Erik Morales on his third match against Pacquiao.

result here already: Pacquiao wins via knock out in the fourth round…ha ha ha
ha!
Only a miracle of biblical proportions can make Marquez win
the fight on Sunday (Philippine time).

UPDATE: Manny Pacquiao won via majority decision against Marquez. The fight was very very very close, unlike what was predicted by many that Pacquiao will destroy Marquez.
Pacquiao in the fight did now his aggressiveness, while Marquez as usual threw precision punches that landed on Pacman's face.
The judges scored the fight at 140-140, 150-130 and 160-120 in favor of Pacquiao.
The result is close and controversial with many boxing analysts saying Marquez should have won. During the fight, Manny seemed clueless and many times his focus seems to gaze away. A fourth fight is looming in the horizon.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Live Stream: One of the most controversial rivalries in

The Mexican counter-puncher has since then publicly
announced his quest for a third match against “Mexicutioner” saying he was
robbed of winning the two fights they had.
In this third bout, Marquez is challenged to go up in weight
with the catch weight at 144 lbs.
He said that with three months in training, he felt much
stronger, faster and younger. With
bigger body frame, he said that he will win convincingly by knocking out
Pacquiao.
He is also very happy with his training camp and very
satisfied with all his preparations for the big match that he has been waiting
for many years.
Observers say that Marquez will undoubtedly use his
counter-punching skill and try to let the fight go the distance

The fighting congressman from Saranggani started his
training in Baquio City and then proceeded to the Wild Card Gym in Los
Angeles. His many weeks of hard training
proved that he wants to win this fight badly and win it in a very convincing
fashion.
Pacquiao said in one interview that he felt insulted by
Marquez saying to the public that he was robbed of two wins, and so will prove
this time around who really is the better fighter.
For coach Freddie Roach, his boy is already very much
prepared, and it will not be surprising if Marquez will go down on the very
first round.
“Don’t be surprised if this fight [ends] one round.”
With Marquez adding weight in order to reach the catch
weight, his speed will be expected to suffer, and Manny’s rapid punching will
hurt Marquez.
So far, the Mexican boxer is plus-650 while Filipino champ
is minus-950 favorite in this Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight.
